Now, one of the fun parts - decorating the tank. Here's where I would have gotten a little treasure chest that opens and closes. but that's part of an air pump and I'm not getting an air pump :>( [Maybe I'll get it anyway just to satisfy my tacky side.]

I'm also going to add some driftwood, rocks, and coral, but until I'm more conversant with what works well and what doesn't (water chemistry), I'll get them from the fish store.
After looking at all of the neat decorations I could get, I made a major decision: I'm going for a 30 gallon tank instead of the 20 gallon!! (I'm starting to get "fish tank fever"!) Now I have room for plants, rock, driftwood, AND my one tacky little treasure box!!! (Yah, I'm gonna get it -- saw a neat one with a skeleton leaning against it!)
I want all this in the tank before I add any fish. Moving and inserting plants and such while fish are in residence can stress them out -- just like when your wife wants to rearrange the furniture.
OK, Bring On The Fish. Or return to the beginning at Let's Get Some Fish!
