PGAA continually gets requests for financial assistance for pet care, mostly for help in paying unexpected vet bills. To respond to this need were are listing all of the financial aid organizations of which we are aware. This is an ever-evolving listing and we appreciate anyone who may know of such organizations that are not on PGAA's lists. If you know of such organizations please E-mail Us.

American Animal Hospital Association Provide owner finanical assistance through your vet (if a member). Your vet will have to contact AAHA for you.

Angels4Animals. "We (then) work out the financial arrangements with the clinic and authorize the treatment needed to save the pet. The owner is never asked or allowed to reimburse Angels4Animals for any of the money provided to save their animal."

Animal Friend Rescue Financial Assistance

Animal Health Foundation To find the cause and way to prevent laminitis-founder complex in horses.

Brown Dog Foundation. "It is our mission to offer pet owners in temporary financial crisis an alternative to euthanasia when their pet faces a treatable life-threatening condition in order to restore the quality of life for pet and owner."

Canine Cancer Awareness (CCA). "We help sponsor the veterinary costs of dogs diagnosed with cancer for those families in financial need who would not otherwise be able to afford treatment."

Cats In Crisis". A non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and humane organizations care for cats with chronic or emergency medical conditions through financial and fundraising assistance.

Cody's Club. "Provides financial support for those who face radiation treatments on a limited income, and also emotional support services in the form of a hotline and in-person group that meets monthly."

CreditCare An organization that provides credit payments for vet care to participating vets.

Diabetic Pets Fund. "This fund is solely to help diabetic pets in need on an emergency, one time only basis. In addition, you must be an active member of the Muffin e-mail group to qualify since most of our fundraising is done through this group."

Feline Outreach. A charitable organization formed to promote the routine and medical care of companion animals, particularly cats.

The Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial assistance to cat and kitten guardians who are unable to afford veterinary services to save their companions when life-threatening illness or injury strikes.

Land of Pure Gold Finding financial solutions for cancer care in dogs

The Magic Bullet Fund Magic Bullet Fund (MBF) provides financial assistance for canine cancer treatment only when the family is financially unable to provide treatment.

The Mosby Foundation. "...organized exclusively for charitable purposes, to assist in the care of sick, injured, abused and neglected dogs through financial support and public education." "Our priority for accepting an application for funding will continue to be a life-saving emergency confirmed by a licensed veterinarian either by fax or phone."

Orthodog's Silver Lining Foundation Created to serve as a place of hope for owners and/or caretakers of orthopedically challenged dogs. Our goal is to provide access to fundraising resources and to make emergency funds available for exceptional cases.

The Pereus Foundation. for pet owners whose beloved companion animals have cancer, for veterinarians, and others who care about them.

Pet Fund The goal of the Pet Fund is to provide financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care.

Pet Samaritan Pet Samaritan Fund provides financial assistance to individuals unable to afford medical care for their pet(s). If you or someone you know has a pet not receiving proper medical care due to extreme financial hardship.

Pit Bull Rescue Central Financial Aid Program

Save U.S. Pets The Save U.S. Pets Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance for pets to receive lifesaving medical treatments when their human companions are unable to afford professional care. Through a participating veterinarian, pet owners whose circumstances meet Save U.S. Pets Foundation criteria are eligible for a grant that will enable their pets to receive desperately needed medical help.

Pet Allies. Sometimes people have financial setbacks and feel that can't adequately care for their pet. There are resources available if you find yourself in this position.

Flagstaff Pet Assistance League. If you need help with a pet, FlagPAL members are ready to lend a hand. They are an extremely active group of people.

Spay and Neuter Solutions. Thanks to generous donations from the public, Spay and Neuter Solutions may provide partial or full financial assistance with spaying and neutering to qualified pet owners.

Actors and Others for Animals. Our main mission is to curb the pet overpopulation problem by subsidizing spay/neuter surgeries. Together with other vital services, we are there to help pet guardians living on a low and/or fixed income care for their beloved companions.

Leanne B Roberts Animal Care Center. In San Francisco. For years, our experienced veterinarians have provided high-quality care to guardians who can afford veterinary services, those that need financial assistance, and free care for homeless animals or pets of homeless people.

The Max Fund In Denver. Care for MaxFund animals and offering the public a low-cost clinic to care for their animals. Also a No-Kill Shelter.

Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital In Denver. Provides donor-subsidized veterinary services for pets owned by economically disadvantaged families and individuals.

The Queenie Foundation. Spay/neuter assistance for low income dogs and cats. Their Susie's Fund is for people who aren't on state assistance, but can't pay for surgery at a regular vet because the fee is out of range for them.

Fox Memorial Clinic. In Newington. A full service veterinary practice which provides veterinary care for animals whose owners are in financial need.

Delaware SPCA in Newark We offer quality, low cost sterilization to privately owned pets, rescue groups as well as TNR programs.

Washington Animal Rescue League. The Washington Animal Rescue League's Love Fund provides funding support for emergency care for seriously injured animals who are abandoned or live with low-income residents in our community who cannot afford the costs of major surgery.

Ashley's Angel Fund. A nonprofit organization providing monetary assistance for veterinary care to dog owners whose pet is facing a life-threatening condition. By providing financial assistance in time of critical need, Ashley's Angel Fund seeks to perpetuate the bond that exists between people and their pets.

Humane Society of Berks County. Services range from comprehensive veterinary services to reduced fee, limited vaccination, microchipping, and sterilization services for those who cannot afford or will not obtain full, proper veterinary care for their pets.

Brown Dog Foundation. Dedicated to helping Tennessee families who find themselves in a temporary financial crisis at the same time their pet requires life-saving treatment or life-sustaining medications.

PACC Online Partners among Cats and Canines. PACC offers financial assistance for spay/neuter services to residents of Franklin, VA and Southampton County, VA. The assistance is only offered to those who are in financial need (income less than $20,000 a year).
