To respond to this need were are listing all of the financial aid organizations of which we are aware. Angels4Animals. "We (then) work out the financial arrangements with the clinic and authorize the treatment needed to save the pet. The owner is never asked or allowed to reimburse Angels4Animals for any of the money provided to save their animal."

Animal Friend Rescue Financial Assistance

Animal Health Foundation To find the cause and way to prevent laminitis-founder complex in horses.

The Big Hearts Fund Pet owners who need financial assistance for the diagnosis and treatment of canine and feline heart disease are encouraged to apply for grants. Grants are limited to payment for veterinary services pre-approved by the Big Hearts Fund Veterinary Advisory Board. Application information and forms for pet owners and veterinarians to complete can be found on the website. Pet owners can also learn more about canine and feline heart disease and ways to improve their pet’s quality of life through resources and articles on the website.

Brown Dog Foundation. "It is our mission to offer pet owners in temporary financial crisis an alternative to euthanasia when their pet faces a treatable life-threatening condition in order to restore the quality of life for pet and owner."

Canine Cancer Awareness (CCA). "We help sponsor the veterinary costs of dogs diagnosed with cancer for those families in financial need who would not otherwise be able to afford treatment."

Cats In Crisis". A non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and humane organizations care for cats with chronic or emergency medical conditions through financial and fundraising assistance.

Champion A Pet The mission of Champion A Pet is to harness the generosity of fellow pet lovers so that struggling pet owners can keep their pets. This generosity will also help alleviate some of the burden on the overcrowding shelters.

Cody's Club. "Provides financial support for those who face radiation treatments on a limited income, and also emotional support services in the form of a hotline and in-person group that meets monthly."

Companion and Service Dogs

CreditCare An organization that provides credit payments for vet care to participating vets.

Diabetic Pets Fund. "This fund is solely to help diabetic pets in need on an emergency, one time only basis. In addition, you must be an active member of the Muffin e-mail group to qualify since most of our fundraising is done through this group."

Feline Outreach. A charitable organization formed to promote the routine and medical care of companion animals, particularly cats.

The Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial assistance to cat and kitten guardians who are unable to afford veterinary services to save their companions when life-threatening illness or injury strikes.

Pet FOOD Stamps The Pet Food Stamps program, due to the generosity of contributors and patrons, are able to eliminate that heart-wrenching decision by making sure these pet owners are given free monthly home delivery of all necessary food supplies to maintain the health and vitality of their pets. If you are receiving Food Stamps or are around or below the poverty level you may apply and the program is available across the U.S.

The Magic Bullet Fund Magic Bullet Fund (MBF) provides financial assistance for canine cancer treatment only when the family is financially unable to provide treatment.

The Mosby Foundation. "...organized exclusively for charitable purposes, to assist in the care of sick, injured, abused and neglected dogs through financial support and public education." "Our priority for accepting an application for funding will continue to be a life-saving emergency confirmed by a licensed veterinarian either by fax or phone."

Paws Care A non-profit organization dedicated to assisting people affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer and other terminal illnesses with their pet care needs

The Pereus Foundation. for pet owners whose beloved companion animals have cancer, for veterinarians, and others who care about them.

Pet Chance Pet Chance was launched in September, 2012 with a mission to remove obstacles that deny pet owners the ability to provide proper medical treatment when their pets need it. They do this by helping pet owners raise money from friends, family and other generous animal lovers to pay for pet medical expenses when money is tight. The money from a Chance is paid directly to state-licensed veterinarians, which serves to eliminate fraud and ensure appropriate amounts of money are raised and allocated

Pet Fund The goal of the Pet Fund is to provide financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care.
