The English Toy Spaniel is an non-demanding pet that is great for apartment life, or for a less active owner. They enjoy the company of people, but should be protected from smaller or inconsiderate children. The English Toy needs little exercise and is easily groomed. It should not be confused with the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel--the ETS is smaller, with a shorter muzzle, different head and shorter tail.
