The Bearded Collie and "The Beardie Bounce!" A 50 pound, happy-go-lucky lump of fur with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Active and insistent in being an equal member of the family. Hairdressers to be will enjoy the opportunity of keeping the long hair free of knots. Because they are active dogs that should get at least several hours of walking each week. Or, the ability to roam in an enclosed yard - just remember that, like all dogs, they will roll around in whatever surface is available.
They enjoy children and will probably try to herd them. The Beardie can be a barker but probably not a guard dog (too loving and trustful).
