The Tibetan Spaniel, or Tibbie, is a happy-go-lucky family pet who is protective of its brood. A small dog that will bark at strangers or sudden, unexpected events. The Tibbie is a great apartment dog but should be exercised regularly (or at least let out in a confined yard area). They shed somewhat during the year and heavy once a year. Normal brushing should keep them neat and unsnarled.
